Food Find: Cyma’s Veggie Mezedes
One of our brand new favorite things in Cyma’s brand spanking new menu is their selection of krii vegetable mezedes, a fresh array of bright, refreshing veggie appetizers!
While the Greek restaurant is known for its impressive selection of beautifully-grilled meat and fish, it would be absolutely criminal not to shine a spotlight on their delicious and completely authentic veggie starters.
Cheese-lovers will absolutely adore the marinated olives with feta as well as the classic combo of feta and fresh watermelon. Sweeter veg get a good roasting too, as featured on their roasted peppers and roasted beet skordalia. The real highlight of the menu, though, is the dolmadakia, a traditional Mediterranean dish of pickled grape leaves stuffed with rice and served with fresh tzatziki.
